In September, I redecorated my mantle with simple decor pieces from Hobby Lobby, Michaels, & Target as I eagerly awaited Fall. I added a couple different pieces for Winter, and it’s unfortunately stayed the same since.
I didn’t really pay too much attention to it, so it slipped my mind. But since I’ve been stuck at home for a few months now, I thought it was long overdue to update the seasonal vibes in our living room.
At first, Kolani insisted it wasn’t a big deal. I’m not sure if I mentioned it in a previous blog post, but Kolani and I will be moving again later this year, so he didn’t think it’d be worth it to worry about home decor.
Nonetheless, I insisted on redecorating. And although it’s very minimal, I think it brightens up our house a lot with the upcoming change of season. I will stress again that this redecorating is very minimal. I didn’t go “all out”, I’ll save that when we have our actual own place.
But, if you’re looking to add some simple spring/summer touches to your space, then check out the photos below!
All of the vases seen above were bought from Hobby Lobby last September. The last photo of the artificial peony was purchased last summer at Ikea.
