I have been obsessed with the theater and musicals pretty much since I could walk.

I have a deep appreciation for them and I feel like they give you an overall feeling that nothing else can.

The music, the costumes, the energy, it’s all wonderful.

So when I saw this shirt I thought it was too cute and had to get it!

I got a size small in the gray tee and it fits perfectly!

It’s so comfy and compliments my figure well.

      1. I grew up going to the theatre with my family. As for my favorite, I have a two way tie for Les Mis and Wicked. I also love Newsies, Beauty and the Beast, Rent, Sound of Music, Annie, South Pacific, Music Man Pippin and Phantom of the Opera.

      2. OMG Phantom of the Opera is my favorite! I saw the movie adaptation when I was in elementary school and it’s actually the reason why I started singing! That’s great, you’ve seen so much! I’m dying to see Hamilton and Anastasia on Broadway! πŸ™‚

      3. I did see Wicked on Broadway when I was 12 with my mom. That was 2006 and it was a date with mom. I saw it three times ever since and each of those times were on tour in Charlotte.

Les Mis- I actually saw five times. I first saw the movie about December 2012, but my journey didn’t really begin until about March 2013. In November of 2013, I saw the stage show for the first time at community college: 1x with family and 2x as usher. In 2015, I saw the show in the West End. Than in 2017, I saw the stage show on tour in Greenville.

I rely on touring productions since I don’t live close enough to NYC. I have seen Annie in St. Louis, Wicked, Sound of Music, Pippin, Mamma Mia, Newsies, and Rent in Charlotte. I saw Phantom of the Opera and Les Mis in Greenville.

I grew up seeing musicals with my family. I had four dates with my mom to theatre and those were seeing Wicked on Broadway, Les Mis in the West End, Pippin in Charlotte, and Phantom of the Opera in Greenville. I did have a theatre date with dad and it was Wicked and it was my 3rd time going and I went because my dad hadn’t seen it yet.

I have a lot of experience going to theatre. Outside of audience, I have ushered and house managed productions.

      4. Wow, that’s amazing! I love the idea of you as an usher or doing the house management! That has to be a dream for you. I saw Wicked and Phantom of the Opera at the Pantages Theater in LA, saw Aladdin at Disneyland which was phenomenal because it’s disneyland duh but I absolutely love the music. I saw Jersey Boys on Broadway which was amazing too. And as far as locally I’ve seen Noises Off, Spring Awakening, West Side Story, Fiddler on the Roof, Mary Poppins, Cabaret, Pirates of Penzance, and many, many others. My mom and I always went to go see musicals and plays whenever we could back when I lived in California. I can’t wait to see more and eventually take my kids someday! πŸ™‚

      5. I always hope to see at least one musical a year.

2015 was the biggest year of musicals because I saw one, not two, not three but four musicals: Music Man at college, Pippin on tour in Charlotte, Les Mis in London ( that was a dream come true) and Sound of Music in Charlotte.

      6. When I was in England, spent most of my time in Bristol since the choir at my church was in residence at Bristol Cathedral. Since the choir was singing at Bristol Cathedral, a pilgrimage was built around that and that is the main reason why I was in England. The pilgrimage began in London and due to that my family went up two days early to get more of London and it was one of those two extra days that I saw Les Mis in London. Les Mis fit right into the pilgrimage, which started the next day. From Valjean’s spiritual journey into my spiritual journey.

      7. What an incredible trip! There’s something magical about Europe, I remember when I was in Paris and it was such a surreal experience for me, it’s my favorite city πŸ™‚
