March Favorites 2018

Well, it looks like March just passed in the blink of an eye, am I right?

You guessed it; March is done so that means it’s time to go over all my personal favorite products that I have used this month.

Let’s go ahead and jump right in!

Beauty

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Dark Circle Eraser

This is at the top of my list because it instantly became one of my favorites. I never really believed I had dark circles, but adding this incredible concealer made a huge difference. It’s bright, light, and easy to apply. It made my skin look fresher and more well rested for those morning where I woke up from a long night of tossing and turning. I also I applied it under my eyebrows once I filled them in, to give it a brighter, cleaner look.

I’m using the shade Ivory.

Covergirl L5 Trublend

This foundation was also and incredible surprise.

Since I tried a different foundation last time, I decided to mix it up again. When I saw this in the covergirl section at Target, I had this urge to buy it and try it. When I was younger, I was an avid reader of Teen Vogue. I thought it was literally the best magazine around. When I looked at some of my favorite celebs in the photo shoots of the magazine, almost all of them wore the covergirl trublend foundation.

This is a pretty great light weight foundation, it’ll make your face glow which is mandatory for spring time. I love the Spring time looks; the natural, glowing fresh face. Combining the age rewind concealer and the covergirl trublend foundation is a fantastic combo, and I would highly recommend it.

Maybelline Master Prime Blur & Redness

 Buy yours here.

Typically, I don’t use primers, but I went a little wild when I got new makeup recently.

I’ve always been a fan of Maybelline’s Master Prime line of makeup- it’s seriously some of the best drug store makeup I’ve ever used for such a little cost. I’ve used other Master Prime’s before, but I hadn’t tried the Blur & Redness control before. I think the redness is what I have the most difficulty with when I start getting breakouts. I really liked this product and how soft it made my skin feel, it really illuminated my face!

Tarte Tight & Bright Mask

Buy it here.

This was gifted to me by my amazing friend Ivanka around Christmas time and I’ve just now finally started using it. I seriously love this mask. I believe a couple times a week that every girl should have a couple of pamper sessions to look and feel beautiful. I do this by using face masks, taking baths, painting my nails, exfoliating etc.

This mask is so unique but so much fun to use. I spread the white portion from underneath  my eyes down to my chin, and the gold portion is spread on my forehead. I leave it for ten minutes, then rinse. My skin is left feeling so soft and moisturized, and not to mention glowing.

House

Essential Oil Diffuser
Buy yours here.

This is one of my favorite additions to our household.

Earlier this month, I was having a lot of trouble sleeping and was trying to find all of the healthy sleep aids I could find. I had been considering this one for a while, and finally resorted into buying one after it went on sale.

Unfortunately, the sleep oils I was planning on using were not pet friendly and I had throw them out. BUT, I do use other pet friendly oils and enjoy the light aroma it steams throughout our apartment. It has a light as well that has multiple settings and is actually very calming.

I hope you all enjoyed my monthly favorites!
