February Beauty & Bath Favorites

Good morning lovelies! It’s been such a peaceful morning, another snowy day. Currently, Ava and I are cuddled up on the couch, surrounded by candles and listening to cozy music while watching the snowfall. I love mornings like these, when it’s so calm. There’s no rushing to get anywhere or any stress, just sitting back and remembering how sweet life is.

Anyways! Since it’s already almost March, I figured I should share my favorite beauty and bath time products with you all! I’ve actually tried a decent amount of new products so I can’t wait to share them with you! So let’s go ahead and jump on in!

Hair Care:

I’ve been wanting to try a new shampoo and conditioner and when I heard that Kristin Ess had a new line at Target I was eager to try it out. If the name sounds familiar, Kristin is a long time friend and hair stylist to Lauren Conrad. I think we could all agree to be somewhat envious of Conrad in some way or another; she’s got graceful style, gorgeous hair and an unbelievably dream Instagram. So far, I don’t have anything bad to say about this shampoo and conditioner, I actually love it. It’s much lighter than the previous shampoos and conditioners I’ve used, which was very important to me as most competitors have a lot of heavy build up that sticks to your scalp. Kristin Ess shampoo & conditioner is fresh, light, and one of my new faves.

Deodorant:

 Processed With Darkroom

It’s no secret that I love Dove ( ha, rhyming) for bath & hygiene products. I feel like their soaps and deodorants leave no heavy residue behind and never fail to make you feel fresh, clean, and soft. I love this brand and everything they stand for and represent.

Foundation:

Processed With Darkroom

This beauty product might come as a bit of a surprise, but, I recently switched from Maybelline to Loreal foundation. This wasn’t completely voluntary; I have sworn by Maybelline FIT ME foundation and I still do think it’s one of the best drugstore foundations on the market. However, when I went to the store they were all out of my shade, so alas I chose Loreal’s True Match. I’ve read good reviews about this foundation as well and to be honest, it is also a very good foundation. It’s under 10$ and provides excellent coverage for someone who doesn’t want to break the bank on makeup. This is the shade I’m using, Natural Buff.

Body Scrub:

Okay y’all, get ready. This is the second body scrub my mom got me for Christmas and I’m OBSESSED. Like, I honestly don’t know why I’ve never used body scrubs before but I absolutely love this stuff. I don’t use it too often, every once in a while when I take a bath. I use it mostly on my arms, legs, feet and hands. My mom had gifted me with the Blushing Peony scent, (since peonies are my favorite flower) and it really is beautiful. The fragrance is light and feminine, and this leaves my skin so smooth and smelling heavenly. As soon as I hop out of the bath, I put lotion on where I used the body scrub then slide on my fuzzy socks and I’m good to go! I know I rave about products and I’m obsessed with them all but this one I swear by, you should definitely check it out!

This has been a chloscall.

Until next time,

Chloe
