Trying the Taco Bell Nacho Fries

My assumptions are that a majority of the readers of today’s blog post are divided into two simple categories: who cares and how were they?

Yes, yes, I’ve tried Taco Bell’s newest addition: the Nacho Fries. As almost anyone can agree, I always try to eat moderately healthy but in a moment of weakness, the nacho fries had piqued my interest.

I’ve had plenty of early morning adventures with Kolani where we were on the road before the sun came up, and stopped off to grab a quick Steak A.M. crunchwrap and Mountain Dew Kick Start because hey, no one is perfect and fast food is sometimes the last resort.

Also if you’re the occasional Taco Bell customer such as myself, you know that they have almost no decent side orders, *shuddering at the thought of mini cinnabons*.

So alas, I decided to give in and try this new “hot” item. From what I could see on the menu, they had few varieties of these fries. They have a side order of Nacho Fries (pictured above), Nacho Fries Supreme, and a Nacho Fries Box.

Let me just start off by saying if you don’t regularly consume fast food, it can taste either disgusting or really good, considering it’s been a while since you’ve last had it.

So, the final verdict?

They weren’t bad. I’ll admit, they were relatively flavorful as all mediocre fast food is, (leave In-N-Out out of this, their food is straight from the heavens). But honestly though, if I had order the supreme version or the fries box, I probably would have gotten sick.

They’re good if you have a craving, are in need for a quick cheap snack or have the munchies. But I don’t see myself having these again for a while, which is convenient considering they’re here for a limited time.

This has been a chloscall.

Until next time,

Chloe
