Hello Everyone!

Welcome back to my blog. For today’s post, I’m going to be sharing with you my fashion finds that I’ll be bringing on our trip to Tonga & New Zealand. From dresses to accessories, I’m excited to show you all what I got!  Let’s get started.

The Modest Flirty Dress

I picked out this super cute dress in a light blue, small size. It’s modest, simple and beyond adorable. I figured I could wander around in it with my white converse while exploring the island. On top of how cute the dress is, it’s only $17! Click the image above to shop now.

Must Have Overalls

I also bought these ridiculously cute overalls in a dark wash, size small. These are perfect for an adventure day out around the island. They’re playful enough to the point where they’ll still be cute even if you scrape your knees a little while out and about. Click the photo to shop these overalls, only 30$!

Blast From the Past

Although this swimsuit is super cute, I opted out for the Navy Blue Polkadot bikini in a size medium. I got a size medium and love the way it looks and feels. I feel much more confident in a high waisted swimsuit, and I love the retro vibes from this bikini. It looks adorable and I feel great in it! Click the photo above to shop the swimsuit, it comes in over 20 different colors and patterns, and it’s only 28$!

Adorable Floral

Okay I’m kind of obsessed with how fantastic the swimsuit makes my curves look! It’s feminine and sexy without being over the top. Definitely recommend this cute 29$ bikini! Click the photo to shop, other colors available too.

Classic White Sneaker

I purchased a pair of classic white sneakers for multiple reasons. Similarly to the little black dress, I believe every girl needs a pair of classic white sneakers. They’re underrated, but really add a nice touch to any outfit; whether it be a modern flirty dress or playful overalls. Shop your pair by clicking on the photo, under 40$!

The Slip On

I bought these slides/sandals this summer before our trip to San Luis, and I literally wore them until it was too cold to have my toes out in Washington. They’re comfy, they’re cute, and they’re Steve Madden so you know they’re well made. I got an 8 in the color black. Shop now by clicking the photo.

Fave Fall Cozies

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog. For today’s post, I wanted to focus on all of my favorite fall time “investment” pieces in my wardrobe. I use the term investment loosely because each item on here is UNDER 30$! Continue reading “Fave Fall Cozies”

Our Thanksgiving Day

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful thanksgiving holiday spent with family and loved ones. This was Kolani and I’s second thanksgiving together, and I have to say I look forward to it more and more. I get to practice my cooking skills, and I get to spend a quiet evening at home with Kolani- stress free and completely relaxed. Continue reading “Our Thanksgiving Day”

The Pumpkin Patch

I’m going to be completely honest with you-Kolani and I have not been doing many exciting things recently. We’re either studying or working constantly. Continue reading “The Pumpkin Patch”

Natural Skin Care

I’ve been getting a lot of requests for this blog post and I’m very excited to write it.

As I’ve mentioned before on my Instagram posts, I’ve started taking the time to put more effort into my skin care routine. I used to wash, cleanse, moisturize, repeat. Never really changing anything up besides the occasional peel off masks I’d use during an at home spa day. Continue reading “Natural Skin Care”

Avila Beach & San Luis Obispo

Ah yes, two of my favorite places in the San Luis Obispo County. Although I don’t have as many photos for this post, I think you’ll enjoy it nonetheless. First things first. Continue reading “Avila Beach & San Luis Obispo”

Arroyo Grande

You know those little farm towns that seem to be scattered throughout random cities all over? I’m sure you do. On the central coast, there’s a small town called Arroyo Grande, and that’s our little farm land. Arroyo Grande, or as the locals call it “AG” (referred to as a nickname, and conveniently AG for Agriculture), is a small but charming little area. Continue reading “Arroyo Grande”

Pismo Beach

It’s kind of funny, what people say is true. You don’t always appreciate things until they’re gone and you’ve lived without them. In this sense, I’m referring to my hometown in the San Luis Obispo County. Continue reading “Pismo Beach”

Catching Up

Hello there!

Although it may seem that I have been absent on here recently, let me assure you that I’m not forgetting about posting on here, or intentionally leaving you hanging.

Quite the contrary. Continue reading “Catching Up”

My July Playlist

It seems like a lot of you enjoyed my last playlist, so I’ve decided to do another!

You all know how much music speaks to me, so I think it’s really fun to share my monthly music faves with you, it’s like “back in the day” when you would be listening to a really great song, then would pop out one of your headphones and hand it to your friend, insisting that they listen.

Fort Casey State Park

Dark, cold, intriguing, a tad creepy.

These are just a few words to describe the historical preservation that is Fort Casey.  Continue reading “Fort Casey State Park”

The Coffee Drink for Losing Weight

Desire for self improvement is never ending.

At least for women. Continue reading “The Coffee Drink for Losing Weight”

My June Playlist!

Summer is fast approaching, and since it’s inevitable that we’re all gonna need some music to listen to while we’re sitting beneath the trees soaking up the summer sun, I decided to throw together a little playlist!

The Revolutionary Tampon

Let’s face it- that time of the month is never something us girls are excited about.

But imagine if you lived in a place where feminine products were nearly impossible to find-maybe even obsolete altogether.  Continue reading “The Revolutionary Tampon”

5 Things I do for an Organized Home!

Hello everyone, and welcome back!

Every time I begin a blog post and greet you guys, I read the welcome intro in a radio talk show host voice.

Does anyone else feel that way?

No? Okay, sorry…cause that’s probably the only way you’ll read it now.

Moving on!

I have been obsessed with the theater and musicals pretty much since I could walk.

I have a deep appreciation for them and I feel like they give you an overall feeling that nothing else can.

The music, the costumes, the energy, it’s all wonderful.

So when I saw this shirt I thought it was too cute and had to get it!

I got a size small in the gray tee and it fits perfectly!

It’s so comfy and compliments my figure well.

My Spring Bucket List for 2018!

Hello, lovely readers!

It’s already April, which means Spring has arrived! Or for some of us, we’re still waiting for the official Spring weather through rain and snow.

Nonetheless, I believe that a Spring bucket list is necessary to help plan a great Spring time. I think we enjoy Spring so much because it’s like a premature Summer.

Even though it’s like Summer, it’s still not fully there yet which can be hard to try to find things to do.

So! I’ve put together a little list to help make your Spring more fun, eventful, and memorable! Let’s get right into it: Continue reading “My Spring Bucket List for 2018!”

Pet Emergency: Beware the Asian Beetle!

11.22.15-Asian-Lady-Beetle-Scare1

Hello everyone! Today is not a typical blog post but more of a PSA.

I recently just learned about the Asian Beetle and thought I should share it with you all because as a dog owner, these little guys can hurt your pup and potentially cause serious health risks if left untreated.  Continue reading “Pet Emergency: Beware the Asian Beetle!”

February Beauty & Bath Favorites

All of my bath & beauty favorites from the month of february

Good morning lovelies! It’s been such a peaceful morning, another snowy day. Currently, Ava and I are cuddled up on the couch, surrounded by candles and listening to cozy music while watching the snowfall. I love mornings like these, when it’s so calm. There’s no rushing to get anywhere or any stress, just sitting back and remembering how sweet life is.  Continue reading “February Beauty & Bath Favorites”
